A little about me. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Auburn University, I pursued a career in human resources management. During this time, I earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA). After several years working in the corporate world, I decided I wanted to help people on a deeper level and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree, with a specialty in professional counseling. In addition to working in a private practice setting, I have worked for several hospitals and taught as an Adjunct Instructor at two universities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. My communication style is warm, authentic, and empathic. I want my clients to share whatever they are experiencing, in a non-judgmental, nurturing environment, which allows for healing and personal growth.
